Steven J. Hubbell

For over thirty-five years, Steven has focused on providing a personalized level of financial planning and investment management services to his clients. In 1987, he co-founded Stokes & Hubbell Capital Management, working to develop comprehensive long-term wealth accumulation and preservation strategies for his clients not only in the New Orleans area, but across the country. In that capacity, he has worked closely with individuals, privately-owned businesses, and trustees of 401(k) pension and profit sharing plans.

Recognizing the advantages of a family business, Steven brought in the next generation of advisors, Todd Hubbell & Carson Strickland, to work with existing clients and build new relationships. For over a decade, their team has developed the expertise and experience to be trusted resources for their clients. And in 2019, they formed a new entity, Hubbell Strickland Wealth Management, with that same mission.

Steven is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). He earned his BS in Management from Tulane University and his MBA in Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans.

Throughout his career, Steven has offered his time and expertise to various non-profit and charitable organizations. He co-founded the Leadership Training Program in New Orleans in 2001. He previously served as President for the Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of New Orleans and has been a board member there for two decades. He is also an Investment Advisory Committee member for the St. Cecilia Congregation in Nashville, Tennessee.

Steve enjoys time with his wife of over 40 years, Kathy, and their children and six grandchildren.
